Career Center

The Career Center offers many services to students. The center Helps graduating students know about job opportunities. It also Helps students start their own businesses. The main services Offered by the Career Center are summarized as follows:

  • Searching job opportunities.

  • Training and building up students competencies.

  • Communicating with government and private sector to help students find suitable jobs.

  • Helping and guiding students prepare their CVs.

  • Helping and training students to conduct successful job interviews.

  • Arranging job interviews.

  • Providing consultations for starting small businesses (entrepreneurship).

  • Directing the Alumni Division.

  • Helping and coordinating Cooperative training for students.

  • Arranging exhibitions focused to educate students about the majors in the college and job opportunities.

Students Union
CEIT student associations offer a noble mission of enhancing Students on the cultural, social, and sport levels. The variety of Associations deal with each student's needs and methods Separately to build a positive and mutual relation between the Institute, students, and the community.

Goals of Student Union:
• Create a link between students and the college.
• Develop non-academic activities.
• Enrich student’s capabilities and skills.
• Enable students to achieve their personal needs.

Student Services
Learning Management System (Blackboard):

CEIT is known for its use of E-learning application and Technology. Blackboard was recently added to CEIT’s list of E-learning tools. It is a Web-based learning-management system designed to allow students and faculty to participate in classes and use online materials and activities to complement face-to-face teaching. Some of the services provided by Blackboard are:

  • Publishing the course materials on the internet.

  • Download smart board lectures, homework and assignments.

  • Communications with all or some of students registered in the specific course.

  • Assessment tools such as quizzes, and surveys, and grade center to acquire grades.

Admissions and Registration System (OPERA):
OPERA system has been designed by the Systems Development Section of the IT Center. It is an academic management system which consists of:

  • Admission system.

  • Registration system.

  • Student’s financial system.

  • Faculty system.

  • Class attendance system.

  • SMS system.

  • Career center system.

  • Library system.

  • Reports

OPERA Online.
This is a newly added service where students can register Courses and get various personal reports (such as registered Courses for a specific term, transcripts, grades for a specific Term, study plan, financial statement, acknowledgement letter And modifying or changing personal data) from the OPERA System through the internet. Students, parents and faculty Members can easily get user IDs and passwords to access the System.

Youth Business Club
The college has already approved establishing the Youth Business Club. This club organizes some student’s activities. The Youth Business Club supervises the following activities:

  • Training workshops in different disciplines such as management, computers and psychology.

  • Local trips.

  • International trips.

  • Sports.

  • Volunteer and social activities.
